Privacy Policy
Leak Detective NI respects your privacy. This policy explains what personal information we collect, why, and how we look after it.
Who we are
Leak Detective NI, run by Martin Gordon, 96 Mountjoy Rd, Coalisland, Co. Tyrone, BT71 5DQ. Telephone 07802 673292. Email martin.gordon@leakdetectiveni.co.uk.
What information we collect
When you contact us we may collect your name, phone number, email address, property address or postcode, property type and details of your leak problem. If you ask us to support an insurance claim, we may also handle your insurer's details and claim reference.
How you give it to us
By phone, WhatsApp, email or the enquiry form on this website. The form does not store your details on this website. It opens a WhatsApp message to us, which you can read and edit before you send it. We do not use it to build marketing lists.
How we use it
Only to respond to your enquiry, give you a quote, carry out the work you ask for, and, if you request it, provide a report for your insurer. We do not sell your information or use it for unrelated marketing.
Our legal basis
We use your information to take steps you ask for before agreeing work, to carry out that work, and for our legitimate interest in running our business and responding to enquiries.
Who we share it with
Only with those needed to deal with your enquiry, such as phone, email and messaging providers (for example WhatsApp), and your insurer if you ask us to support a claim.
How long we keep it
We keep your contact and job details only for as long as we are carrying out work for you. After that we delete them. The exception is records we are legally required to keep, such as invoices and accounts, which we keep for as long as the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information we hold about you, have it corrected or deleted, or object to how we use it. Contact us using the details above. If you are unhappy with how we handle your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies
This website does not use analytics or advertising cookies. If that changes, we will ask for your consent and update this policy.
